The Memorial is built from Honed Karin Grey Granite.It commemorates 17 men who died in WW1 and 15 from WW2, as well as 9 civilians. There are 2 from "other conflicts"There is a link to details of these casualties.

A Dedication Ceremony was held on Sunday 16th May, attended by the Lord Petre, the Mayor of Chelmsford, representatives of all the armed services and many others.Many thanks to all who supported this.
